Direct Support Professional - Make a Difference
This position pays a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 11pm Friday through 11pm Sunday for both FT and PT employees.
The Cheryl Program is a group home for adolescents in a community setting. We are looking for direct support professionals to make a positive difference with the Consumers in the program. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference and change lives for the better, then this job could be for you! On a daily basis, you can expect to:
- Relate with adolescents, understand what they are going through in their lives and build rapport
- Show adolescents that they can change their lives on their own by giving them direction
- Use positive reinforcement and other techniques to keep adolescents on the right track
- Assist in teaching life skills, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning
- Get moving and go outside to play basketball, tennis, hiking, bean bag toss and other activities
- Lead by example and have a positive mindset
Full time and part time positions are available. Various shifts are available.
