Are you a skilled clinician ready to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead and inspire a team of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring program professionals. In this vital role, you’ll provide clinical supervision to up to 6 license-eligible clinicians, manage program scheduling, and carry a caseload when necessary. You will be the key to ensuring quality care through hands-on leadership and support.

As a Clinical Supervisor, you’ll mentor and develop staff, provide on-call support, and represent the program in community engagements. You'll also have a critical role in planning, developing, and assessing the program’s effectiveness, helping shape the future of care delivery in our community. A commitment to building strong relationships with community partners is essential.

Hours & Benefits:

Full Time positions include the following benefits:

  • 3.2 weeks of PTO in first year

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in social work or a related field with at least 5 years of post-master’s clinical experience.
  • NJ Clinical License as an LCSW for a minimum of two years and credentialed as a clinical supervisor for LSWs.
  • Appropriate certification or other requirements set forth by NJ State licensing authorities for clinical supervision of license-eligible clinicians.
  • Experience in credentialing and/or experience with public and private payers/insurance is preferred.

Special Equipment, Skills, or Other Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate computers, phones, faxes, and copiers.
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to meet required deadlines and schedules.
  • Flexibility to handle special requests and projects while maintaining professionalism in stressful situations.
  • A valid driver’s license is required, and if driving is part of the job duties, the ability to operate an agency-owned vehicle is necessary.

Work Environment and Hazards:

  • May be required to engage in physical crisis management.
  • Risk of exposure to communicable diseases is possible.

Work Contact Group:

  • Regular interaction with all internal management, staff, program personnel, and the general public.

Special Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, push, and pull.
  • Cognitive, verbal, and manual skills are necessary, along with hearing and visual acuity (corrective devices acceptable).
