Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and family counseling to support mental health and emotional well-being.
  • Develop personalized treatment, discharge, and aftercare plans.
  • Collaborate with referring agencies, community resources, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment records.
  • Use your expertise to assess and address the unique needs of consumers across all age groups, providing appropriate, age-related care.

Job Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Master's degree (MSW, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field) from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of relevant experience required.
  • Must hold a valid license (LSW, LAC, LPC, or LCSW).

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license. If duties involve driving, the ability to operate an agency vehicle is required.

Work Environment and Hazards:

  • May be involved in safe crisis management..

Work Contacts:

  • Frequent interaction with internal staff, management, and community partners.

Special Physical Demands:

  • Ability to travel between programs as needed.
  • Cognitive, verbal, and manual skills required.
  • Visual and hearing acuity needed (corrective devices acceptable).
  • Must manage deadlines and schedules effectively, while being flexible with special requests and projects.
  • Ability to professionally handle stressful situations.
