Linfield University, a proud NCAA Division III institution in McMinnville, Oregon, seeks a passionate and experienced Head Women’s Volleyball Coach to lead its women’s volleyball program. This role offers a unique opportunity to build upon Linfield’s rich athletic tradition, fostering student-athlete growth both on and off the court in a supportive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program Leadership:
  - Oversee all aspects of the women’s volleyball program, including budgeting, practice and game management, and recruitment.
  - Develop athletes’ skills and ensure their academic and athletic success.

- Recruitment & Player Development:
  - Scout and recruit prospective student-athletes, ensuring alignment with Linfield’s academic and athletic standards.
  - Create an environment of growth and development through effective coaching techniques.

- Community & University Engagement:
  - Foster strong community relations and engage in outreach initiatives.
  - Represent Linfield University positively within the NCAA Division III community.

- Administrative & Fundraising Support:
  - Supervise assistant coaches and work-study student employees.
  - Lead fundraising efforts to enhance the volleyball program.

Qualifications:

- Education & Experience:
  - Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in human performance or related field.
  - Minimum three years of volleyball coaching experience (college-level preferred).
  - Familiarity with NCAA Division III policies and guidelines.

- Skills & Commitment:
  - Strong recruiting ability and proven coaching success.
  - Dedication to student-athlete development in academics, athletics, and personal growth.
  - Fundraising experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
