Job Opportunity: Assistant Professor of Finance, School of Business

Linfield University’s School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Finance. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach entry-level and upper-level finance courses, as well as other courses as determined by the department chair.
- Fulfill service responsibilities including department and university service and student advising.
- Collaborate with related academic programs to enhance the curriculum.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, ABD in a doctorate program, or a Doctorate in finance or a closely related field.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated potential for success in scholarly professional achievement and department/university service.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and students in a college or university setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate teaching experience in entry-level and upper-level finance courses.
- Experience mentoring undergraduate students, including first-generation students.
- Evidence of relevant experience in finance.
- Experience in the field of financial investments and/or financial institutions or relevant experience (highly desirable).
