Job Summary: Manage the marketing & service processes within the Private Company Financial Lines Practice.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Team with achieving new business and retention goals. Seek new lines of coverage for current and new clients and act on cross-sell opportunities.
  • Ensure review of existing program policies/coverage for current clients.
  • Manage the renewal marketing process for client accounts, coordinating with producer to develop proposals and recommendations. Negotiate renewal with carrier.
  • Control and coordinate the implementation process of new business and renewals, including market submissions, proposals, bindings, invoicing and certificates and other administrative materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts, and assist with overall client service.
  • Maintain relationships with carrier representatives, staying abreast of new products, carrier procedural changes and market trends. Attend seminars, classes and carrier meetings to keep abreast of new products available for clients, as opportunities occur.
  • Provide administrative support on other tasks as they arise, such as assigned special projects, development of new ideas/services and other projects, as requested.
  • Become proficient in the account management system and electronic data systems.
  • Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching our account management staff and to assist in ensuring maximum productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • State specific license is required
  • 7-12 years of financial lines experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong multitasking & time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher)
  • Professional in appearance and business conduct with strong customer service
