Junior Surety Bond Specialist

Job Summary:

The Junior Surety Bond Specialist is a client facing role involving a strong knowledge of surety, risk involved on each bond, and the clients’ needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Creation & Issuance of Bond Forms
  • Assist the Surety Bond Specialist with drafting bond language per their instruction.
  • Sign, seal, and issue final bonds under the instruction of the Surety Bond Specialist
  • Creative analysis to navigate a unique bond request
• Invoicing
  • Generate new and renewal invoices for all bonds within the system for assigned accounts
• Guidance
  • Possess a basic understanding of the surety bonds involved with a client, the bond’s mechanics, and ability to convey to clients
• Marketing
  • Direct marketing to carriers on smaller bonds or pre-established programs

Qualifications:

• High School diploma is required; college degree preferred
• State specific license is required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
