Job Summary: Individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and support-related tasks for CAC Specialty’s Business Development team. Individual must be able to handle a fast-paced, dynamic environment, have strong interpersonal skills, a focus on problem solving and a positive attitude. The position will work closely with our Marketing, Human Capital and Operations teams to support various initiatives.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training and development initiatives to support the professional growth of our sales team, including but not limited to monthly National Sales Call, Base Camp, Learning Library, etc.
  • Coordinate Business Development new hire onboarding and orientations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Marketing Team on cross functional initiatives, including but not limited to, sales collateral/content, RFPs and presentations/proposals, Client Advocacy (Net Promoter Score, Client Advisory).
  • Support a variety of events that are either Business Development or Producer-Led (Tier 4) or sponsored by CAC’s product, industry and sales teams.
  • Build close working relationships with CAC Sales Team and CAC Practice and Product Leaders to initiate and track/measure new business initiatives.
  • Assist in compiling research on existing and prospective clients utilizing CAC databases and ongoing distribution of materials both internally and externally.
  • Ensure Business Development Team processes and workflows are continuously improved and identify areas for automation, efficiency and improvement.
  • Support new business forecasting and pipeline data via SalesForce
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on open issues in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience required
  • Comfortable working with staff of all levels (including senior leadership); high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Can-do attitude and enthusiasm, strong drive and initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office products and highly PC/IT literate
