Junior Surety Bond Specialist

Job Summary: This position is responsible for account support to include bond execution, processing renewals, and servicing accounts for all types of bonds

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process and invoice new bonds and renewals in a timely manner
• Respond to client and company requests for action and information
• Execute bonds, riders, extensions, consents of sureties, continuation certificates, and powers of attorney
• Execute and update bonds in agency management system
• Review documents issued for accuracy
• Follow established workflow, proper file management and quality management procedures, as well as accurate data input
• Track payments to ensure timely collection and reconcile accounting items on a weekly/monthly basis
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required, 2 or 4-year college degree preferred
• 0-2 years’ of surety experience preferred
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with good organizational skills
• Professional in appearance and business conduct
• Ability to be physically present to complete duties and responsibilities during office hours
