Job Overview:
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment within a manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include servicing systems such as piping, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical wiring (110, 220, 480 volts). This role also involves working on injection molding equipment (machines, robots, thermolators, hot runner systems, EOAT), blow molding equipment, material handling systems, paintlines, exhaust systems, and boilers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repairs: Maintain and repair building infrastructure and equipment, including specialized systems and machinery.
- System Work: Handle piping, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical wiring. Perform maintenance on injection molding and blow molding equipment, material handling systems, and other facility systems.
- Installation: Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
- Quality Improvement: Help reduce scrap and improve product quality by addressing equipment issues and optimizing cycle times.
- Collaboration: Interact with co-workers, QA, and management to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
