SUMMARY

The Digital Designer will join our internal Marketing team at company headquarters in Overland Park, KS.  This individual will work on various digital design projects and manage content development for our social media channels.  Our ideal candidate must be able to implement the company’s brand identity, visual and voice into every campaign and communication, both for internal departments and external partners.  The candidate must work well independently and within a team.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Responsibilities will include creating digital assets, video editing, and motion graphics
  • Assisting in the design, execution, and tracking of promotional and informative email campaigns
  • Working seamlessly with the Lead Designer and Marketing Manager
  • Ability to properly maintain a brand asset library and distribute brand materials when necessary
  • Developing social media content across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Utilizing your skillset in photography, video creation, and editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Design or a related field.  1-4 years of design experience at an agency, internal marketing team, or combined work/educational equivalent. 

  • Must have a strong portfolio showcasing design (including video and motion graphics)
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects)
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, graphic design best practices, and social media marketing
  • Understanding of HTML and email deployment platforms (preferred)
  • Experience creating HTML5 responsive banner ads (preferred)
  • A solid foundation in typography, layout, and design
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinker who is strong in problem-solving and project management
  • Proficient in full Microsoft Office suite; experience with Sprout Social or social media scheduling tools is a plus
