As an Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of our automated systems used in medical device production. You will leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to maintain complex instruments, design efficient workflows, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated solutions for specific areas of manufacturing where automation will be used, e.g., assembly lines, sterilization processes, testing equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other industrial automation control systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance of automated equipment.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including control logic diagrams, electrical schematics, and operating procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automation technologies and industry standards relevant to medical device manufacturing.
