Come join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a Full-Time 3rd Shift Peer Support Specialist. (1:00am - 9:00am)

Hourly rate for Certified Peer Support Professional = $17.50/Hour

*** One Dollar Shift Differential for Third Shift***

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Peer Recovery services, which include but are not limited to crisis intervention, community outreach and engagement.
  • Assist clients in articulating personal goals for recovery and determining treatment objectives.
  • Observe the progress clients make toward meeting objectives and provide feedback to client and treatment providers.
  • Use personal life experiences as a recipient of services to model recovery and establish trusting relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to support a culture where experiences and preferences are recognized, understood, and respected.

Job Qualifications

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certification as a Certified Peer Support Professional preferred.  Eligibility to receive certification required.  
  • Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks and drug screen.
