Ron Tonkin Chevrolet is excited to announce an opening for a qualified Business Office Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing and generating financial data across all dealership departments, ensuring the accurate financial health of the business. As a key partner to the General Manager and dealership management team, the Business Office Manager plays a critical role in identifying opportunities for improvement through financial metrics and maintaining efficient accounting processes that drive operational excellence.

This is an on-site role at the dealership and includes managing administrative staff and overseeing essential functions within the dealership. You’ll also have the support of our consolidated accounting office, which handles key tasks such as cash management, centralized payroll, benefits, and HR.

 

Business Office Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and generate financial data for all dealership departments, ensuring an accurate representation of the business's financial condition.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement through financial metrics.
  • Develop and maintain accounting processes to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and research financial questions.

Qualifications

Business Office Manager Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of high-volume dealership accounting experience and a minimum of 1-2 years managing a team and pulling a financial statement.
  • Strong knowledge of all accounting desks in the dealership and experience implementing and overseeing processes to ensure compliance.
  • Must possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical ability, excellent communication and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • A high school diploma is required; college accounting coursework is preferred.

Corporate Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen (THC not included in the screening).
