We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead our parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach. This role is essential to ensuring that our service department operates efficiently and our customers receive the best service possible.

 

Parts Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely ordering, and efficient distribution of parts.
  • Manage and mentor a team of parts associates, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing and ensuring timely delivery of parts.
  • Collaborate with service and sales departments to meet customer needs and enhance overall dealership performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize department operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and procedures, as well as safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to parts orders.

Qualifications

Parts Manager Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive parts management, preferably within a dealership setting.
  • Expert-level experience and knowledge using CDK
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and dealership management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen, THC not included in the screening.
