Tonkin Hillsboro Collision Center is on the rise and we have big things planned for this upcoming year. We are seeking out experienced Body Shop Collision Estimators to join our collision center! The Body Shop Collision Estimator position is crucial to our operations because it is the driving force behind our sales and services. This position is extremely client-orientated so being able to communicate professionally and effectively is paramount. The ideal candidate would have prior body shop experience, working as an estimator.
Body Shop Collision Estimator Job Duties
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; and reviewing technical publications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
