Qualifications
The ideal APCH Clinical Therapist is someone who has a love for helping others and will be an individual who carries high personal and professional standards and enjoys partnering with others to achieve successful outcomes. To be successful in this role the Clinical Therapist candidate will focus on achieving excellence of service and performance in the five core competencies identified by the agency: integrity & trust, adaptability, accountability, learning and development and compassion. Education/Training/Experience
- Degree: Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
- Knowledge and experience in client-centered, trauma-informed care and family systems approaches.
- Must be registered under the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
Physical and Mental Demands
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment typical of a youth center.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use hands/vision for computer work.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
