Let’s talk about the role!

The Supply Chain Systems Analyst analyzes and improves a company's supply chain processes and systems, focusing on data analysis, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to optimize operations and ensure smooth product flow. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•    Designs analytical reporting to review and maintain key performance indicators related to inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.
•    Maintains and reviews forecast planning vs. actual sales to help optimize future inventory levels.
•    Performs inventory analysis with ability to identify slow moving items, define inventory turns at item/product category/warehouse location level.
•    Performs inventory reconciliations by comparing receipt reports across various systems to identify discrepancies and resulting variances.
•    Issues, tracks, maintains, and ensures accuracy of Purchase Orders for stocked and custom products.
•    Proactively drives vendors to meet expected timelines and delivery schedules and provides visibility and reporting of supplier performance.
•    Recommends and maintains supplier mix targets based on pricing and performance.
•    Manages and ensures accuracy of all documentation (Packing List, Commercial Docs) related to procurement from domestic and international suppliers.
•    Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability and previous transaction history. 
•    Identifies areas for improvement in the supply chain, such as streamlining processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
 
SKILLS: 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Proficiency in data analysis tools and technics is crucial for extracting meaningful insights from data.
•    Knowledge of supply chain systems, ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills. 
•    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
•    Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies. 
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 
•    Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or related field.
•    4+ years’ experience
•    Previous Inventory Management experience preferred.
•    Strong computer skills emphasizing MS Excel and ERP reporting systems (preferably NetSuite)
