Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a manufacturing quality environment with increasing responsibility. Experience working in a precision machine shop is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and leading a staff of inspectors and quality engineers in a manufacturing operation, serving diverse industries is required.
- Experience with AS9100 and implementing quality plans. Demonstrated experience implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement programs in a Quality Department.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience with tooling design (both machine fixtures and inspection gages).
- CMM experience preferred.
- Surface plate layout experience preferred.
