General Summary: Provide direct service and supervise daily living skills of residents within a group home for persons with long-term mental illness.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
- Provide intensive education, training and modeling in basic living skills and social skills including but not limited to shopping within a budget understanding the difference between want vs. needs.
- Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.
- Supervise medication compliance.
- Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
- Transport clients.
- Review e-mail account daily for new messages.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend all agency/department required training and meetings within the prescribed period.
- Attend all Safety Training programs and be able to describe his/her responsibilities related to the general safety, department safety, and specific job-related hazards and responsibilities.
- Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.

Education, Experience and Competencies:
- Associates Degree in Human Service field or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, special education or related human services preferred.
- Experience in the Human Service field.
Certifications, Licenses Requirements:
- Valid driver's license required or ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job.
