Education and Experience Requirement(s):
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration preferred. Associates degree with at least 5 years of related experience may be accepted.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
- Good writing skills required.
- Some customer service and job readiness experience preferred.
- Knowledge of at least one of the following service areas is required: homeless related issues, refugee and/or asylum population.
- Prior training experience in CARES database is helpful.
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and other database programs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to implement program activities related to required training and following through independently in accordance with established procedures.
- Must be able to independently work through routine problems, determining solutions from established standards or procedures.
- Required on a regular basis to be prepared to utilize appropriate techniques to ensure consumers safety.
