We are looking for a Valuation Advisory Services Intern to join our Advisory Department in either our Philadelphia or New York City office. As a Valuation Advisory Services Intern, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. The Winter Internship Program is during our busy season, usually beginning early January and ending in April or May depending on your department.  The Summer Internship Program is an 8-week long program in-person, usually beginning early June and ending late July depending on your department.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities across industries
  • Designing and working with financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction
  • Performing in-depth client, industry, market, and competitor research
  • Work alongside FLVS team, to gather, interpret, analyze, and evaluate data
  • Assisting in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Be a current Junior or Senior applying for a 5-year Master’s degree program in finance, accounting, business or applied economics
  • Be a self-starter, highly collaborative, creative, outgoing, and possesses strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills
  • Have completed course work in accounting and finance
  • Have a fundamental understanding of financial valuation, methodologies, and applications
  • Have strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple deadlines independently as well as work cooperatively with team members and have exceptional work ethic
