Description
American Reading Company (ARC) is seeking a confident and driven Educational Sales Manager to add to our sales team. We're looking for an individual with excellent prospecting skills, who has zeal for hunting and opening new territory, who possesses presentation and networking skills, and will build long-term relationships with our customers (i.e., schools, districts, and educational organizations). If you love being the face of a mission-driven brand, whose goal is to ensure every student K-12 is reading and writing on or above grade level – this might be your dream job! Educational Sales Manager
Spends Their Days
· Prospecting
· Cold calling and emailing
· Hosting discovery calls
· Qualifying new leads
· Running product presentations
· Negotiating price and overcoming objections
· Converting leads into partners
Gets Excited About
· Talking to new people and building relationships
· Helping schools/districts discover solutions to their ELA challenges.
· Gaining internal champions who are excited about the solution they are selling.
· Successfully overcoming sticky objections.
· Hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
Requirements
· Lives within travel distance to sales territory.
· Provides proof of covid-19 vaccination and booster(s).
· Will travel as needed, based on territory requirements.
Things That Would Be Nice:
· Has experience with literacy solutions, and/or has taught English or Language Arts in a public school system
· Possesses knowledge of ELL, bilingual, and dual language programs.
· Is bilingual and/or biliterate in Spanish and English.
