Role Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Branch Quality & Operations Manager/Team Leader, the Branch Quality Control Specialist (BQCS) conducts certification reviews to assess the accuracy and effectiveness of controls, records, and branch operations. The primary task of the BQCS is to monitor documentation, certifications, and provide quality reviews for branches (remotely and onsite). The BQCS will provide effective feedback, resources, and guidance to improve performance across the retail branches. The BQCS will assess identified processes to monitor trends, discover opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations. The BQCS will also be responsible for providing timely reporting, feedback, and recommendations to the leadership team including suggestions for further refining Branch Quality and Operations.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Review, document, and report results of quality control reviews.
  2. Conduct in person and certification reviews for Retail Branches and College Branches.
  3. Assist in identifying and reporting trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement to the Quality Control Program, branch operations, and both the member and team member experience.
  4. Assist in maintaining and updating documents, workflows, and processes used for branch reviews.
  5. Regularly evaluate processes to make recommendations for improvements to branch quality and operations.
  6. Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
  7. Sustain an up to date and comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, as well as branch operations, standards, and processes.
  8. Provide subject matter expertise and support to branch team members, leadership, and business partners.
  9. Assist in the departmental and organizational risk assessment process and program.
  10. Assist in the updating, communication, and adherence of policies, procedures, and operational documentation.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) year college degree or higher preferred.
  2. Four (4) years of experience in banking, quality control, or compliance.  
  3. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  4. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and credit union programs. 
  5. Maintain confidentiality, control risk, and manage operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and ethics.
  7. Travel is required to complete branch reviews, training, and meetings.
  8. Report for work on time and maintain a schedule of regular attendance.

Salary Range:

$25.49-$38.24
