SEGA of America is seeking a Licensing Coordinator who is enthusiastic about consumer products and video games. The Licensing Coordinator will be part of the Transmedia West Consumer Products team, focused primarily on bringing many of ATLUS’ award-winning franchises to life, such as Persona, Metaphor: Refantazio, Shin Megami Tensei V, and also SEGA’s Legacy properties, such as Shinobi, Golden Axe, Crazy Taxi and more.. Your primary duty is to be the key support person for the SEGA consumer products team in all aspects of the business. You will help facilitate day-to-day business needs, as well as assemble materials needed for presentations, business meetings and tradeshows. You will also be responsible for preparing reports as needed, both internal and external, including pitch decks, reporting tools, quarterly newsletters, internal licensing updates, etc. You will become a reliable resource on the consumer products team, trusted by other internal teams, while developing close, professional relationships with licensees and partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the point person with licensees and partners to ensure quarterly royalty reports are received on time and liaise with Dependable Solutions Specialist and Accounting as needed
- Manage internal approval processes, route and track status of all licensing owned paperwork
- Oversee procurement of paperwork or documentation as needed by licensees (clearances, etc.)
- Sales Materials - liaise with marketing and other teams to secure materials needed for brand presentations, sizzle reels, sell sheets, etc.
- Organize/Maintain shared Licensing folders
- Build and maintain a library of product beauty shots
- Manage quarterly licensing newsletter
- Manage swag/sample requests as requested by manager
- Manage shipping of packages via FedEx for category management needs
- Work with cross-functional teams within Transmedia West as needed to maintain the business
- Communicate and work with other Transmedia West support staff, sharing best practices to create and maintain efficiencies across the business
- Working in-office is an essential function of this position. This requirement of face-to-face interaction is in place to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:
