Tableau Solutions Architect

Job Description  

Go Local Interactive, a digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, PPC, Local Listings Management, Content Creation, and more, is seeking an experienced Tableau Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data visualization solutions using Tableau to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in Tableau and data analytics.

Job Expectations

• Design and Development: Create and implement data visualization solutions using Tableau, ensuring the visualizations effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

• Dashboard Management: Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.

• Data Integration: Integrate various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow into Tableau, and optimize performance for large datasets.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored Tableau solutions.

• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau usage, ensuring they are capable of self-service analytics.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of Tableau dashboards and reports.

• Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for Tableau report development, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and industry trends to ensure the organization leverages the most advanced capabilities.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI development with a focus on Tableau.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.

  • Strong understanding of SQL and database management.

  • Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

• Certifications: Tableau Certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a digital marketing agency or a similar industry.

• Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Power BI or QlikView.

• Understanding of cloud data platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
