Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in finance or accounting.
- One to three years of relevant full-time job experience and working in a non-for-profit is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong technology skills with high competency level in MS Office applications; experience in Sage Intacct, Bill.com and Martus budgeting and forecasting systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience managing large-scale data sets required.
- Strong project management, attention to detail, and ability to work quickly and professionally on short turnaround projects essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a diverse and socially committed organizational setting.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure in both a team setting and individually.
- Attention to details and accuracy with strong analytical, technical and organizational skills
- Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary $75k
Hours 9 am -5 pm

Compensation
Covenant House New York offers a rich package of benefits including but not limited to full medical, vision, dental, life, and short and long-term disability insurance and other fringe benefits. Eligibility for medical benefits begins on the date of hire. PTO includes 3 weeks of vacation in the first year, 10 holidays, 13 sick days, 5 personal days, and birthday days off.
