Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in music or music education.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience as a state-licensed PK-12 music educator in general music and/or choral music settings.
- Strong background in music education theory, pedagogy, and curriculum development.
- Record of or potential for scholarly research and publication in music education.
- Ability to effectively teach diverse groups of students and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Terminal degree in music education, choral conducting, or related field.
- Experience teaching PK-12 general and vocal music at the elementary and secondary levels.
- Experience teaching at the college/university level, particularly in music teacher education programs.
- Piano skills for accompanying students or productions.
