Health Information Alliance. is seeking a PRN, Remote Core Measure Abstractor with Sepsis.
- This is a Subcontractor Position (1099)
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20 Hours/Per Week.
- 100% Remote position
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core measures are a set of care standards, required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission (TJC), which describe the care to be provided to our patients while in the hospital. These care standards have been shown to improve patient outcomes.
The candidate will review the hospital’s medical record and abstract the appropriate data elements associated with the measure. Abstractions are entered into specified data collection application(s). This position requires a sound knowledge of the medical record and applicable clinical workflow.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Must have a Minimum of 5 years of Current Experience with Sepsis Abstraction (Clinical Data Abstraction) of Specified Measure/Registry Core Measures.

Superior knowledge of core measure requirements

Experience in IQR, OQR, IPFQR, and/or other quality reporting programs that utilize core measures

Experience with core measure data collection application(s)
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of current Data Abstraction Experience in HIP - Sepsis Core Measures
- Superior knowledge of core measure requirements
- Experience in IQR, OQR, IPFQR, and/or other quality reporting programs that utilize core measures
- Experience with Core Measure Data Collection applications
