The Floral Designer will work with team members from every operational area to ensure the quality of all arrangements. With a focus on innovation, creativity, and attention to detail, the Floral Designer will truly contribute to the success of each event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Partner with the Director and other team members to ensure that client requests are fulfilled and either meet or exceed floral expectations
• Maintain the highest quality and service standards in all interactions with both internal and external customers
• Facilitate the smooth flow of work through inventory and schedule management
• Plan and execute the delivery and set-up of floral items in conjunction with the Services and Logistics teams to ensure the required deadlines are met
• Manage internal and external relationships through positive and consistent communication
• Continually work to improve the quality and creativity of DBD Floral products
• Conceptualize ideas for floral decoration, themes, and demonstrations
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS //

• High School Diploma
• Maintain a valid Nevada Driver’s License
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and catering to their requirements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of design techniques and tools involved in producing specialty items (hedge walls, floral archways, etc.)
• Strong skills in listening, time management, problem-solving, and making key  decisions effectively
• Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment where multitasking is commonplace.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with all types of floral and plants
• Experience with large events – preparing arrangements, setting up, etc.
• Flexible and demanding schedule – ability to work evenings, weekends, and other overtime shifts as needed for events, outside of a regular 8-5 schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS //

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
