Branch Warehouse Supervisor

Darragh Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. If you have supervisor experience, at least one year of warehouse experience, can communicate well in written and verbal forms, then check out this opportunity. The Warehouse Supervisor handles daily operations of the warehouse and delivery teams, including freight, shipping and receiving, returns, and transfers. Maintaining high levels of accuracy daily and providing impeccable customer service to our customers.

Core Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversees and establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
• Accountable for dispatch of delivered goods to internal and external customers. Effectively plans daily delivery schedule and coordinates with inside sales, outside sales, rebar fabrication, other branches, and customers.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts that reconcile with computer inventory system and ensuring proper turns of dated product.
• Assists in recruiting, selecting, and training warehouse and driver staff

Core Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to communicate with customers both internal and external in a clear and professional manner
• Must have good working knowledge of inventory software, order processing software, and Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds by hand and have the ability to stand and be active during shift. You will be exposed to moderate noise levels and outside weather conditions.
