PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Advertising and Production Manager oversees the development of video, digital, and on-lot content for the Slim Chickens brand, ensuring alignment with the promotional calendar. They manage timelines for content development and lead a cross-functional team to ensure promotions are executed flawlessly. This role includes creating and distributing promotional guides, serving as the main contact for agencies, POP, and Menu Printer, and optimizing costs and time management for efficient promotion execution.


ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate advertising production timelines with agencies.
• Create and approve store lists for each promotion.
• Manage production of video assets, ensuring smooth execution of shoots and alignment with media plans.
• Coordinate on-lot creative development.
• Develop print manifests for POP kits with print vendors.
• Implement system menu rollouts, creating and managing deployment timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams to support promotion execution.
• Ensure timely approval of creative materials.
• Develop Promotional Implementation Guides for store-level execution.
• Act as primary contact for advertising agency and POP print vendor.
• Project manage Digital Asset Management tool implementation and maintain brand assets.
• Identify and recommend process optimizations for better time management.
• Manage budget, processing creative development invoices efficiently.

 

Slim Chickens systems principles and objectives: Has a thorough understanding of Slim Chickens' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies, safety) and recognizes the responsibility to stay updated on these systems and the role this position plays in supporting them.


Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives: This position description is designed to guide the activities of the Advertising and Production Manager. It is not meant to restrict the individual's creativity or limit their thinking, nor does it encompass all the tasks that may be required in this role.


Physical Activities: Primarily performed in an office environment. Involves entering and retrieving information on a computer and visually verifying details, often in small print. May also require presenting information to small or large groups.


Travel: Occasionally requires travel to multiple restaurants or work sites, which may include overnight stays.

• 2-4+ years of professional experience in advertising development and project management.

• Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to build positive working relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and follow-up skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.
• Proficient in using Smartsheet.
• Exposure to project management software like Monday.com.
• Ability to recognize and maintain brand consistency through design.


Technical Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Social analytics including Google & Meta, Ability to operate in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva


Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising & communications, or relevant field plus equivalent level of job experience and a minimum of five years of applicable marketing experience at a management level.
