Verrill is actively reviewing resumes for a Family Law Paralegal in our Boston, Massachusetts office.  As one of New England’s top full-service law firms, we are interested in hiring talented individuals to join our team. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting attorneys in our Family Law Practice Group.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting, reviewing, and analyzing  legal documents, including pleadings, motions, financial statements, and discovery requests and responses; coordinating and managing Rule 410 Compliance; collaborating with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and meetings; interfacing professionally with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals; and maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

 

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills and at least eight (8) years of family law experience preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is a plus.  The successful candidate will be capable of producing high quality work in a timely and professional manner, while providing exceptional client service and team support, in a fast-paced environment. 

 

The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, financial acumen, advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TurboLaw), and a comprehensive knowledge of Probate and Family Court processes and procedures. Applicants should have proven project management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks successfully, and enjoy working as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
