OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Director of Business Development for Agency with Choice (AwC) is responsible for driving growth and securing new business opportunities for this service model
(Also known as a co-employment model). The Director of Business Development for AwC develops and executes strategic plans to attract key funding partners, stakeholders and potential clients. The Director will lead initiatives to enhance the visibility of Acumen as well as this service model. They are responsible for fostering relationships and promoting the AwC model as an additional option of service that Acumen provides. As a representative of the company, the Director is responsible for presenting the company positively to
current and potential customers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the AwC model
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within new and existing markets where Acumen provides F/EA services
- Identify and establish relationships with potential partners, including healthcare providers, community organizations and government agencies
- Manage initial contracts, expansions and contract outcomes to ensure compliance
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop campaigns and materials that drive program growth and client acquisition
- Lead and mentor a team that is aligned with Acumen’s vision and mission
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of staff within the AwC team
- Represent the best interests of Acumen and the clients served when interacting with all stakeholders
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned
- ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly.
