Summary:
Responsible for overall comprehensive administrative and clerical support of the Human Resources department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up to date HR files, records and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, and filing electronic and hard copy.
- Establishing and maintaining personnel and recruitment records, files, correspondence, reports and organizational charts and records.
- Managing sensitive and confidential matters and protecting the security of information, data and files.
- Assist with coordination of employee events and wellness initiatives.
- Regularly draft department newsletter/communications.
- Communicate company policies clearly and effectively when questions arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills required.
- Substantial administrative and clerical experience required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, complete assignment accurately and by deadline assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or work equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of clerical experience in an office setting required.
- Previous experience working in a Human Resources department preferred.
- Microsoft suite experience.
- Proficiency in or ability to learn HRIS system.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Normal office environment; no unusual physical demands.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
