Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Data Manager to the Medicine - Virology department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Responsible for overseeing, organizing, storing, and analyzing data and data systems. The data manager ensures that all of this is always done with the utmost security, confidentiality and in a timely manner. They enforce policies, establish data sharing rules, and troubleshoot data-related issues for the department.

Qualifications

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field preferred. Or High school diploma with years proven experience managing data, a thorough and proven understanding of data management and administrative policies. Familiar with modern, high-tech databases and IT systems.

Required: 

  • Competency in the use of computer software and programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Office and other Information Technology.  Experience with EPIC, AIRS, E- Commerce, EHB, and Grants.gov preferred.
