Technical Service Representative Part Time

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit customer facilities for customer complaints or proactive follow-up.
  • Respond to customer complaints and submit to our company’s claim system.
  • Coordinate/document Product Development field trials.
  • Update documentation of laboratory procedures and systems as changes are made/added.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Thorough knowledge of paper quality parameters and causes of defects.
  • Good understanding of a variety of converting and printing processes required
  • Good understanding of papermaking machinery and effects on paper quality highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s production processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years’ experience in a mid-level or senior technical role in printing, converting and/or papermaking required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to travel long-distance.
