Overview: PARLOUR is in search of a dynamic and seasoned Kitchen Manager to spearhead our kitchen operations. The role entails maintaining meticulous standards of cleanliness, ensuring top-notch food quality, and optimizing operational efficiencya collective effort directed at enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Execute food preparation, cooking, and serving with robust leadership.
  • Ensure a clean and safe workplace by meticulously enforcing PARLOUR policies and procedures.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to foster a team-oriented environment for consistently exceptional dining experiences.
  • Strategically achieve financial targets, oversee daily operations, and rigorously enforce PARLOUR policies.
  • Demonstrate adept proficiency in utilizing kitchen management software for operational efficiency.

Team Development and Collaboration:

  • Inspire, train, and develop kitchen associates, addressing recruitment needs for a skilled team.
  • Actively participate in meetings and training sessions to continually enhance team performance.
  • Encourage open communication and a positive team culture.
  • Address conflicts promptly and constructively, facilitating team meetings for operational improvements and shared responsibility.
  • Foster seamless collaboration with front-of-house staff to create a harmonious dining experience.

Administrative Excellence:

  • Track attendance and work hours meticulously for accurate payroll processing.
  • Regularly update records to reflect changes in personnel, promotions, or additional training completed.
  • Conduct thorough inventory checks regularly to prevent shortages and wastage.
  • Utilize effective communication channels with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order placement, optimizing stock levels and minimizing disruptions.
  • Exhibit unwavering commitment to health and safety standards, ensuring thorough compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and effectively managing inspections.
  • Ensure strict adherence to PARLOUR policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the PARLOUR management to implement and uphold consistent branding across all aspects of operations.
  • Implement PARLOUR-approved training modules to ensure uniformity in employee skills and service quality.

Compliance Excellence:

  • Act as a liaison between the PARLOUR headquarters and the local restaurant, facilitating effective communication.
  • Participate in PARLOUR meetings and training sessions to stay aligned with the broader goals and initiatives of the PARLOUR.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits to ensure that the restaurant is meeting the PARLOUR's operational and brand standards.
  • Implement corrective measures based on feedback from PARLOUR inspections.
  • Execute marketing campaigns and promotions in alignment with the PARLOUR's overarching strategies.
  • Collaborate with the PARLOUR marketing team to localize and implement national campaigns effectively.
  • Foster collaboration and information sharing with other PARLOUR locations within the network.
  • Participate in PARLOUR network events or forums to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the PARLOUR system.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a full-service casual dining kitchen.
  • Serve Safe certified.
