Job Description: CNA/Direct Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/Direct Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to clients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and physical therapy exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Requirements & Skills 

• Work experience as a Direct Care Worker or similar role 
• Ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care and hygiene needs. 
• Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties, run errands and prepare meals. 
• Vehicle for picking up prescriptions and errands with valid driver license and insurance. 
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs.

Ability to commute/relocate: 

• Saginaw, Michigan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) 

Experience: 

• Caregiving/Direct Care: 6 months (Required) 

License/Certification: 

• CNA (Not Required) 

• CPR Certification (Required)
