Â
The Culture and Events Coordinator is responsible for building, supporting, and sustainingcommunity and culture at The Academy South Campus through hosting events and supporting hospitality on campus. The C&E coordinator helps to support a culture of excellence through an attitude of professionalism and love of the community he/she serves.Â
Â
To be successful as a C&E Coordinator, you should be a highly motivated and organized individual with strong and clear communication skills. A remarkable C&E Coordinator will demonstrate a commitment to positive collaboration, creativity, and the capacity to build strong relationships with students, parents, and teachers.Â

Responsibilities:Â
Â
• Leads in planning, communication, volunteer recruitment, and execution of events at South Campus.
• With the C&E Manager, superintends all event details for the South Campus in an organized and efficient fashion.
• Solicits, recruits, and empowers parent volunteers through ongoing communications.Â
• Ensures all event communication is detailed, current, and accurate for parents, students, faculty/staff.
• Collaborates with campus principals for planning, implementing, scheduling, and cultivating culture for campus.
• Aids in support as needed by: Principals, Culture & Events Manager.
• Provides and coordinates hospitality as needed across district in cooperation with all C&E staff.

• Ability to work independently and activate volunteers
• Organized, creative, and having the ability to execute vision
• Ability to work well in a team with capacity to provide both vision and attention to detail

• Reports to Culture and Events Manager
• 24 hours per week during school year. Expected to manage time in such a way to accommodate needs of event. Expected to manage most work in officeÂ

• Able to stand for extended periods of time as needed
• Able to work at desk and computer for extended periods of time as needed
• Able to turn, bend, reach and occasionally use a ladder if needed
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
