Material Handler - Assembly - 4 bar - 1st shift

Standard Hours: Monday - Thursday; 5:00am - 3:30pm

Position Summary

Responsible for moving materials, supplies, and components to designated areas within the facility. Printing and process of labels and shop orders (SOs). Transferring of product and staging for warehouse. Organizing and wrapping skids. Receiving shop orders into IFS and transact in IFS when physically moving product. Making boxes used for final assembly in 4 Bar.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

• Printing shop order labels and making boxes for final assembly
• Be able to competently use IFS for shop order receipts and inventory transactions
• Transferring finished good product from Assembly to Warehouse for shipping
• Ability to identify parts, verifying with the label on the box
• Able to ensure quality of parts
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to use counting scale
• Certified to operate forklift
• Ability to learn and retain general knowledge of quantification of parts along with when and where they go
• Ability to read SOs and obtain correct product type and quantity to run
• Inform Supervisor of any issues with operation or quality
• Maintain a clean workstation and facility
• Must wear proper PPE at all times and conform to all safety rules and regulations
• Perform any other task asked by Management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have experience working with inventory systems/ERP (IFS preferred)
• Previous lift truck experience with OSHA certification preferred
• Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull minimal of 40 lbs
• Must have basic math skills

Software Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
