Job Summary
Our food service team members are responsible for leading by example to ensure that we are providing fresh, high quality food to our guests. These individuals oversee our food program as well as make sure the food is fresh, and keep our stores clean, while providing the best customer service. Bobby’s Kitchen is looking for energetic, positive team members. Retail experience is great, but not required. If you have a positive attitude and engaging personality, we would love the opportunity to talk to you. Full time and part time positions are available. Hours vary by location.
Food Service - Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a work environment focused on safety and incident prevention through following OSHA standards.
- Adhere to company standards, specifications, and guidelines for handling, preparing, and serving menu items while following all food safety policies and procedures, including time and temperature control, safe product handling and proper cleaning and sanitizing routines.
- Preparing orders according to the menu specification and charging appropriately.
- Stocking coolers, freezers, paper goods and bread; putting away suppliers’ orders.
- Filtering, changing, and boiling out fryers; cleaning grills.
- Washing, rinsing and sanitizing dishes.
- Prepping foods from a written recipe using skills such as dicing, slicing, portioning, mixing, etc. with
accuracy and consistency.
- Preparing items for our deli case, dinner case, baker case and hot case.
- Communicating verbally and documenting accurately on all forms, including the time & temperature log,
foodborne illness records, cleaning routines, etc.
- Following dress code and grooming requirements including clean hair/skin, trimming
and cleaning fingernails, proper hair restraints, etc.
Food Service - Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be diligent and punctual.
- Greet every customer that enters our facility with hospitality and respect.
- Always maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere.
- Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Being dependable and reliable for the position
Being on your feet most of the workday (standing, walking, bending, coordinating parts, etc.)
Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
