Description

As the Senior Clinical Product Manager at EchoNous, you will be the leading clinical voice in the development of EchoNous Kosmos. This is a key role in the Product Management Team. As we aim to revolutionize Point-of-Care ultrasound, your experience and clinical perspective will help ensure EchoNous products meet the clinical needs of our customers and the broader clinical landscape. Working directly with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Service, and Sales, you will represent the voice of the customer throughout the product development, product release, and post-release processes.

You will develop a deep understanding of EchoNous target clinicians and the competitive landscape and help guide the development and marketing of our offerings in accordance with sound business practices. You will work with sales management to ensure the sales and clinical teams are equipped with training and product resources before each product release. You will remain engaged post-release to ensure customer feedback is collected, documented, and considered for future development. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure we have hit the mark.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive new features and product initiatives from discovery through adoption.  
  • Identify and define opportunities to improve the speed, quality, cost, and effectiveness of software-driven workflows for clinicians
  • Assist in improving and creating new A.I.  and/or  clinical features for Kosmos per the EchoNous Phase-Gate Product Development process.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, A.I. Team, Regulatory, to design and execute clinical validation studies for A.I. features. Develop training materials and train clinical sites to ensure completion of clinical validation studies. Assist as needed during study execution and with any follow up activities (site close-out, study reports, regulatory submissions, etc).
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to establish product requirements, pricing, willingness to pay, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead acquisition of clinical images required for internal efforts and/or Marketing purposes. Identify needed images and collaborate with Marketing, Field Clinical team, external sonographers to arrange scanning sessions to acquire images. 
  • Help develop the roadmap and backlog for one or more product domains, including prioritization based on business impact and growth potential
  • Analyze the POCUS market, write product specs, and perform customer interviews to facilitate the product development process
  • Monitor product impact to ensure the realization of expected value and form corrective plans to address deficits
  • Work directly with our engineering and operations teams to execute and achieve desired outcomes
  • Work directly with Growth Marketing (Campaigns, Content, Events, Communications) to ensure product messaging is in line with customer needs and product value propositions
  • Work with sales leadership to ensure the sales and clinical teams have the proper tools and training to fully understand the product benefits, ensure positioning is aligned with customer problem statements, and uniquely differentiate our offerings from the competition.
  • Work with regulatory team to help define and execute clinical validation studies

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of clinical product management experience working with engineers, designers, and other product leaders to drive product vision and roadmap.  Prior experience providing clinical expertise in engineering organizations that utilize Agile software development methodologies.
  • 10+ years of experience in the medical device industry, especially in point-of-care ultrasound
  • Trained ultrasound sonographer

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in delivering commercially successful ultrasound products to market
  • Track record of strong relationships inside and outside of an organization that has contributed to business success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills consistently leveraged to align, focus, and execute
  • Desire to be part of a fast-paced environment and work productively with teams across the company
