East West Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Epicor Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of the Epicor ERP system and will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes, enhancing system functionality, supporting end users, and assisting in implementing, setting up, and managing financial systems, including chart of accounts. This role requires extensive experience in configuring and maintaining financial modules within Epicor, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Design, customize, and deploy EPICOR ERP solutions based on business needs, focused on operational best practices in new business implementations.
  • Identify opportunities for operational process improvements and efficiencies using Epicor Kinetic functionalities.
  • Document operational processes, procedures, and system changes to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams, including Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to resolve issues, ensure smooth outcomes, and provide excellent customer experience for internal and external customers. 
  • Administer and support the Epicor ERP system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide training and support to users, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues related to the Epicor system.
  • Stay updated on Epicor best practices and emerging trends to enhance system utilization and effectiveness.
  • Enhance and cultivate East West's company culture (positive, productive, fair, FUN). Demonstrate company values. Be an East-West culture champion.

 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

 

  • 4-Year degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Epicor Specialist or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of the Epicor ERP system
  • 3+ years with Epicor Kinetic; certification or training is a plus
  • Experience with Core ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.)
  • DMT experience for data loading.
  • CRM experience (campaigns, quotes)
  • Deep inventory and job costing experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft products
  • Strong knowledge of MES, supply chain, and manufacturing processes
  • Manufacturing industry experience required
  • Ability to identify gaps and create functional requirements
  • Experience with multi-company implementations and global master data
  • Strong analytical skills; translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Accurate forecasting for education sessions and implementations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to changing priorities
  • 10-15% travel
  • Prolonged periods of desk work
