Required Technical Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Current Wisconsin Driver License, without limitations that are incompatible with duties and responsibilities, and a motor vehicle record acceptable to program and/or contractual requirements.
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, TB test and background check.
- Ability to successfully complete all required driver/customer service representative trainings within 90 days of hire to include Defensive Driving, operation of Route Boss GPS system, customer service modules and ServSafe Manager certification. ServSafe certification is required for Driver 2 position.
- Ability to serve meals according to Food Safety Plan and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Able to respond to emergency situations in accordance with training received.
- Able to understand and follow written and verbal directions, and speak and write in a clear concise manner.
- Accurately and promptly communicate customer concerns to designated Food Service staff
- Ability to effectively utilize Route Boss system for navigation and accountability purposes
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee may experience or must do to successfully perform the essential functions of the job:
- Must be able to frequently move, transport, position, push/pull and/or lift objects or equipment weighting at least 70 pounds repetitively (100 pounds intermittently) in a variety of situations, including using stairs or during inclement weather.
- This position may work in a variety of indoor and outdoor work environments which may include various outdoor weather conditions, loud noises, and fluctuating temperatures and the occasional use of stairs.
