Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Department: iLIFE - Quality

Union or Non-Union: Non-Union

Exempt or Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Workplace Classification: Remote

 

Job Purpose: The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures accurate, efficient document processing. This position is responsible for reviewing a high volume of work and auditing various operational areas. The Quality Assurance Specialist adapts to changing audit needs and focus, while contributing to iLIFE’s continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Reporting Relationships

Reports To: Quality Manager

Direct Reports: No direct reports

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Audits documents against system entries to ensure they have been uploaded and processed in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to timesheets, HR paperwork, and vendor claims.
  • Works with various software applications to monitor quality.
  • Helps coach processors on errors when applicable.
  • Provides audit feedback regarding the errors, patterns, and trends to the Quality Manager.
  • Communicates with other iLIFE department leadership based on assigned workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)

Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

Minimum Required Experience: 1+ year professional experience in document review and/or data entry preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience with software systems such as Laserfiche & WISITS is desirable.
  • Moderate knowledge of PC software and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with team members.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to coordinate work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and function effectively in a multi-task environment.
  • Ability to and departmental policy & procedures.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

 

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:

Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.

Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction

Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.

Working Conditions: None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
