Description

Job Purpose: The Quality Supervisor oversees the members of the iLIFE Quality team and supports the Quality Manager in developing and monitoring quality processes and improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with contract requirements and to optimize team performance. This role works closely with leaders from other iLIFE departments to ensure effective cross-departmental collaboration in order to meet deliverables.

  • Supervises the daily activities, coordinates resources, and sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
  • Coaches the members of the Quality Team through regular one-on-one meetings, performance management, and supporting opportunities for professional development.
  • Ensures that Quality Team staff are appropriately cross-trained to ensure continuation of duties.
  • Reports to the Quality Manager on team productivity using key performance indicators and the status of current quality improvement efforts.
  • Escalates situations timely to the Quality Manager and other iLIFE leadership when appropriate.
  • Partners with iLIFE and CFI leadership to achieve strategic priorities by promoting principles and practices that improve quality, build client trust, and improve operational performance.
  • Supports the Quality Manager in developing and implementing quality change initiatives and events such as audits, quality management plans, performance improvement projects, Kaizen events, and issues resolution through root cause analysis.
  • Builds a constructive working relationship with iLIFE staff and leadership, CFI partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Leads or assists with special assignments and projects, which could be initiated internally by iLIFE or CFI, or externally by a funding partner such as DHS.
  • Understands supported roles to find or provide assistance when needed
  • Performs special assignments and or projects as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations. Reviews and approves the accurate report of time.
  • Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Minimum Required Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in related field including experience leading and developing staff members performing jobs of varying responsibility. Lean, six-sigma, PMP or related experience desired.

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively lead a remote team of diverse individuals in maintaining compliance and improving processes related to quality.
  • Knowledge of self-direction or similar programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as trauma-informed care, neurodiversity, and cultural competence preferred.
  • Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Ability to adapt to internal and external changes to policy, procedure, and standards. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of and ability to proficiently use work-related equipment and applications such as laptops, HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to learn new software, as well as train other staff on those programs as needed.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with an emphasis on prioritization.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) as well as agency and departmental procedures and guidelines.

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:

Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.

Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction

Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.

Working Conditions: None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
