Applications are being accepted for a part-time Environmental Quality Technician in the Animal Health and Conservation department.
Responsibilities: The Environmental Quality Technician provides oversight to the zoo’s Environmental Quality Program including conducting field measurements and laboratory procedures for evaluation of animal enclosure features throughout the zoo with a large focus on water quality testing. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field is required. Three years of experience working in a zoological setting and a background in aquarium water quality testing are preferred.
Benefits: This is a part-time position requiring availability for up to a 29-hour work week year-round.
