INTRODUCTION
The employee is directly responsible to the Justice Services Director or designee for carrying out the assigned functions of the program. The employee will work with program staff, judicial officers, program clients and other community partners to address the needs of the program and client assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee works mainly indoors, in either the field, office or courtroom environment.
The employee will work out of an assigned workstation within a Judicial District, but may include several adjoining county sites. The employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, tobacco smoke and foul odors during the workday. May require occasional moving up to +/-30 pounds, bending, stooping, or climbing. Requires travel to counties within the thirteen county service area for meetings and other job-related activities. Will require some travel for training outside the thirteen county area and occasional overnight travel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF
Supervise and monitor the activities of program clients for insuring adherence to Community Corrections Standards.
Submit timely client status documentation for use in electronic databases used by the program. Ie (Tomis, ADE, etc.)
Coordinate and communicate with judicial officials concerning assigned participants compliance
Complete and file required documents in client file within the established deadline for each
Ensure client record documentation is in compliance for programmatic audits
Research and prepare post sentence reports or updates when needed.
Prepare warrants for violations of court ordered supervision
Testify as called upon by the court as related to assign client cases.
Assist the program clients in receiving needed services and make referrals to appropriate resources
Facilitating MRT classes for clients
Transport clients to various treatment facilities, upon need
Coordinate services for participants assigned to Recovery Court, including serving on treatment team
Conduct outreach efforts to increase awareness of the program's merits as an alternative to incarceration.
Conduct client home visits within the established timeframe to ensure clients are adhering to court order
Participate and attend all required Agency and Grant training
Adheres to professional ethics and standards, demonstrating work habits, which comply with Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures.
