Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software platforms, Sage Intacct a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles.
- Experience with grant tracking and compliance is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
- Passionate about WHRO Public Media.
Education:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, related field or the equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate would have five years of experience in accounting.
